Turkeys that survived fireworks fright await holiday ax (Anchorage Daily News)

Triple-D Farm in the Valley is offering hundreds more fresh turkeys for holiday tables this year - even though 200 of its flock died when state fair fireworks spooked them and they "piled on each other."
